Our Curriculum

At The Learners Nest Academy, we pride ourselves on offering a comprehensive and engaging curriculum that creates a supportive and enriching learning environment for young children, promoting their overall development and love for learning during the critical early years. Our curriculum offers different programs tailored to specific age groups and developmental stages of children, incorporating elements of S.T.E.A.M (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics).

Our curriculum is thoughtfully designed, incorporating elements of S.T.E.A.M (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics).

We believe in the power of hands-on learning experiences that encourage children to ask questions, solve problems, and explore the world around them. By integrating science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics into our curriculum, we provide a holistic approach to education that prepares children for the challenges of the modern world.

Frog Street is a well-regarded early childhood program that focuses on building foundational skills in language development, literacy, mathematics, social-emotional development, and more. With its research-based approach and engaging activities, Frog Street enhances our curriculum by providing a strong framework for language and cognitive development.

Hatchlings – Infant

6 weeks  to 14 months

In the Hatchling classroom we have an infant curriculum that focuses on each child’s individual needs with developmental activities that will ensure growth in cognitive, physical, and emotional growth.

Our infant program helps support support the bond between you and your child. We have  carefully prepared an environment and program in which babies can grow healthy and happily. Throughout our program, we make time to observe babies, interact with each child, offering conversation and manipulative materials at receptive moments. As your child progresses from sitting to crawling to walking, from bottles to feeding themselves, we are there to encourage and assist them every step of the way.

Classroom Goals

Support parents and infants in the separation process while encouraging a spirit of co nurturing between teachers and parents.

Model respect, gentleness and care.

Support the development of sensory, language, expression, and the development of movement and physical both gross and fine motor skills
